Safari Reflections

A study of how moving through open land adjusts attention, scale, and inner clarity.

Context

In the savannah, movement is steady and unforced. Long distances, repeating horizons, and changing light reduce urgency and make each moment easier to notice without trying to control it.

Practice

Reflection happens in motion: while watching small shifts in terrain, tracking rhythm in silence, and returning attention to what is present instead of what is next. The process is simple and ongoing, shaped by observation rather than analysis.

Field Note: When the landscape gets wider, what becomes less important in your attention?
